Founded in 2002 to address regulatory implementation issues in the LNG industry GlobalCPT has grown to address issues in the petroleum industry and marine safety while staying true to the original goal of streamlining LNG industry relations with governments and regualtory organizations worldwide. Dennis Maguire, the driving force behind GlobalCPT and its President and CEO, offers the experience of a distinguished carreer with the US Coast Guard and senior management positions with Alyeska Pipeline Company and BGLNG Services. While with the Coast Guard Mr. Maguire was, among many other things, the Federal On Scene Coordinator for the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill later writing the US governments final offical report of the incident. Later engaged by Alyeska Pipeline Co. to oversee the implementation of regulation that he had helped write Mr. Maguire worked with the federal, state, and local governments to minimize cost while maximizing safety and response abilites. As an executive with BG LNG Sercices he continued expanding his role in dealing with governmental agencies and industry in improving safety, security and environmental issues for the LNG industry. Carrying these skills to the LNG sector he has overseen a number of inter agency drills and regulatory implementations around the globe and with the worlds top LNG producers.
